Welcome to the website of the Gaspar van Weerbeke Project
The object of the Gaspar van Weerbeke Project is to complete the editorial work for the publication of the composer’s “Collected Works” as part of Corpus mensurabilis musicae (American Institute of Musicology). On these pages you can find an overview of the CMM volumes which encompass the “Collected Works”, catalogs of works and sources, and additional commentary not included in the published volumes. In addition, there is a summary of the three-part FWF-funded project hosted by the University of Salzburg, a short history of the edition, and information about the project’s collection of Weerbeke-related material.
